Beginning with “Alif” and ending with “Ya”, each letter describes its own distinctive characteristic. Each of the Alphabet illustrations is exactly the same size as the equivalent Abjad plastic letter – which means fun, fun, fun for children as they place letters over the illustrations. The O-wire binding keeps pages flat when the book is open. The multi-coloured text is written using the very self same Abjad letters ! This encourages children to “see” how letters are used to write words. No other children’s book can boast such a feature !
